This week I went bee hunting with my kids. We caught some interesting insect activities on camera and have enjoyed them immensely. I hope you enjoy them as well. (By the way, it’s a little unnerving to have a bunch of bees fly at you when you are looking at them through a telephoto lens, I had a hard time not backing up!)

(I will be adding these images onto the Gallery where they will be available for purchase if you are so inclined. I am not sure I will choose to offer these in poster size, as a 20×30 inch bee might be more unnerving than lovely. Thank you for stopping by my Weekly Winners post today!)

Oh my goodness!
Those were all so amazing. I could almost reach out and touch those bees, they were that close and clear.

Absolutely the best bee shot series I’ve seen this summer. And the butterfly? Wow! I’m always amazed that anyone can get such great shots of things that move around so much. Gorgeous.
